Found a plan you love but need an alteration, or you haven’t found the tiny house you were looking for just yet? Our friendly team can design custom tiny home plans based on our design packages or completely custom plans made from scratch for you to ensure your dreams turn into reality.

What plans are included in a custom design package?

  • A detailed floor plan of the ground floor and mezzanine space

  • Elevations

  • Sections cuts

  • Framing Isometrics

  • Exploded Framing Isometric 

  • Framing plan*

  • Window / Door schedule

  • Electrical plan (If required)

 *Framing plan for timber construction. For steel framing, we advise to engage a steel framing manufacturer for detailed manufacturing plans. Our team can design to timber and steel standards.

 
 

So, you are interested in having your tiny house designed by us, but what does the process look like?

 Free Consultation:

  • Firstly, we set up a free consultation meeting with you. We use this to discuss your wants and needs, your budget, and what design services you require. 

  • From there we form a brief with everything we have discussed in our meeting prior. 

  • Once the details are confirmed from the brief, we can send out a quote based on the scope of work required. 

  • After confirmation from the quote is received, we proceed to send out a contract before commencing with the design work.

 

Design process:

  • Once everything is signed and ready to go, we design a draft 3D model of your tiny house. The turnaround time for this usually takes 1-2 weeks, depending on availability and scope of work.

  • Once completed, we set up a meeting to discuss the model before proceeding with the next stages. This process generally involves a bit of back and forth with you, so we can ensure that the final design is perfect!

  • Once the 3D model has been confirmed, we can proceed with the technical drawings and compile the final design package.

  • When the design package is done, we set up a final meeting to ensure that everything is exactly as imagined. If there are any questions during the build process, our team is always happy to help.
